News & Notes.

News & Notes is the technical journal of The Vistua Network System.

N&N serves as a way for Administration to instruct you about important matters, advise of significant upcoming changes, explain its opinion or decision making and to to provide long-form news information as well as for other purposes.

News & Notes postings are sequential and cross-referenced, and are almost always expository and abstractly analytical in nature because part of the goal of the News & Notes is to be a journal of Administration's reasoning on technical matters.

Because all issues and are not inherently concise, and the importance of background information is not to be underestimated, these articles can periodically become complex, lengthy and multifarious. Notwithstanding these occasional complications, clear explanation of even the most opaque topics is always sought, obscurantism is no more the goal of this journal than imprecision.

Noticeboards

The News Group also has two noticeboards, the General Noticeboard and the Site Noticeboard are provided to make lesser announcements, typically with far less excogitative matter than a N&N article.

Noticeboards are similar to their cork-based counterparts and contain miscellaneous information on a single page, organized into groups by indentation and headers.

Twitter

The Vistua Network is also on Twitter (this is technically not part of News & Notes) which is used to make short announcements about minor things, and to notify of new postings on noticeboards. Tweets from the @vistua account are displayed on the News HomePage as well as the Main.HomePage
