Journal: Introducing RSS

What on earth is RSS? You may have encountered this term (also known more generically as "web feeds") and the ubiquitous feed icon as you browse the World Wide Web.

RSS is an exceedingly useful technology that you can use to have your favorite sites come to you, rather than you going to them by aggregating "feeds" of syndicated content from them.

We have just added two different articles to the Helpdesk about this, the first Support.WebFeeds is a Knowledge Base article detailing the theory behind RSS. The second is a nuts-and-bolts introduction to Google Reader, a popular web-based feed reader that Administration recommends. You should read the KB article first or the how-to article won't make sense.
